In Just Ten Minutes

I Am Persuaded

Bishop D.H.  McKillop
March 27, 2011

We know in whom we have believed that He will keep that which we’ve committed. Walking and knowing you are in the will of God will hold you fast to what you believe.  The excellency of the power is of God; not of us. God started this world with the Holy Ghost moving and He will finish it with the Holy Ghost moving. The principle of the resurrection is the Holy Ghost; it is our buying power.

If you are not living in a place where you need faith then you are not living in the supernatural. Faith will hold you while you wait for the substance. If we never had a problem we wouldn’t know how God could solve them. The enemy will fight every new step that we take but in order to have victory there has to be something to struggle through. Our strength is made perfect in weakness.

If God be for us, who can be against us? Our problems are to conform us to the image of God. God glorifies those He justifies. He has a way of fixing up our shortcomings as long as we are not living in open rebellion. God needs to hear about our frustrations. We have got to believe that He loves us. Nobody can separate us from that love when we are persuaded. Persuasion will allow the anointing to do the work.

The Qualified Call

Bishop D. H. McKillop
March 20, 2011

God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. His power can take care of any deficiency that we may have. It doesn’t matter what comes our way to persecute or perplex us, if we are in the will of God, He will pull us through. When we step out of His will, we have no protection.  God uses pressure to produce power. Nobody can do for us what God can do. There will be times He will ask us to do things that don’t make sense. This is when we have to keep going back to the revealed will of God. The enemy hates the will of God being accomplished.

There must be a resurrection principle in our lives. There is no room for both self-will and a Holy God; two things can’t rule inside. We’ve got to die out; God has to live. God is interested in obedience more than anything else because when you obey you have emptied yourself out. Watch for things that can spring up inside of you that can cause you to lose your blessing. The enemy would like to weave a web around you so tight that you can never get back to your original blessing. No matter what we go through we need to realize how blessed we are.

Pursue peace like a hunter. You can’t have peace without holiness. Our general lifestyle needs to be one of peace. We can either dwell on the negative and be lost or choose to follow after peace, be positive, and be saved.

Jesus Rejoiced In Spirit

Bishop D.H. Mckillop
March 13, 2011

God has His eye on the church and loves the church. We withhold God's blessings with our delay in our obedience to God's Word. We have got to believe that God knows what He is doing. He will not create a situation that He can't take care of. Listening to the negative will kill your faith. We are tied to the natural but there is coming a day when this mortal body will put on immortality. We will not know one another after the flesh. So while we wait for that immortality, we need to edify one another when we meet together. There is nobody big enough to keep you out of Heaven.

God called Abraham out of Ur without him knowing where he was going, but he knew God was taking him to a city whose builder and maker was God. God kept setting attractions for him along the way. We need the same faith that Abraham had that we are going to leave here and make it to the city and receive our inheritance. Abraham knew there would be things that he would have to conquer but he kept moving and building altars.

Where the presence of the Lord is there is peace. We can live in freedom through the liberty of the Holy Ghost. The devil has no rights or power in the church. God can cause confusion on anything that tries to come against the church. Our natural gets affected, but our spiritual can't be moved. So, keep watching as God continues to strut his stuff.

The Purchasing Power of Desire

Bishop D.H. McKillop
March 6, 2011

Obeying the Word of God is the most important thing we can do. We need His approval on our sacrifice and the glory of God in our lives to cover us. His glory covered Adam and Eve and when they saw what they really were they tried to cover themselves with something that had been cursed. There is no situational ethics for sin. If you really want to know what you are, get in His presence. Something will have to die inside of you to get in touch with God. We have a longsuffering God that puts up with our insufficiencies; don’t ever let the thought cross your mind that God is not treating you right.

There has been a battle over worship since the beginning. Cain used something from cursed ground to offer his sacrifice; he was trying to offer it as a gift. Abel went with faith; not works, that God would accept his sacrifice. Even though we sin, we can come to the House of God and offer our sacrifice with faith and God will accept it. That is what makes the difference in our worship. We have to die out to flesh to worship. If you have no worship; you have no sacrifice. We will be able to face anything when we know God has accepted our sacrifice.

When we determine to do right, God will come by and give us the grace to overcome. Sacrifice and hunger brings revival and when desire meets power there is no coaxing. Desire will cause you to do whatever you have got to do to meet with the Master. When we feel the least worthy but the most grateful He will come by and give us abundant grace and accept our sacrifice

Which Side Of Jordon Are You Investing In

Pastor D.R. McKillop
February 27, 2011

We need bulwarks in our lives to keep us protected and a spirit of thankfulness if we are going to make it to the other side. Making the city has everything to do with following the vision of the church. If you are following the cloud everyday it will lead you to Heaven.

Four hundred years Israel was waiting for the Promised Land and kept their eye on it and sang about it. As they wandered through the wilderness and was getting closer to the Jordan they had many herds of cattle because they failed to use them for sacrifice and decided it would be good to settle there. Their possessions they had accumulated in the wilderness had messed up their perception. Their livestock was for the purpose of worship so could it be they were holding back on their worship because they had so many cattle. If we are not willing to give some things up we will start investing in things on this side of the Jordan and not on the Promised Land. We need to live like we are not staying.

The Israelites knew there was a Promised Land built for worship, they watched as the priests left carrying the Ark, and they watched as God supernaturally brought down the walls of Jericho but they knew it wasn't for them because they had settled for this side of the Jordan. The thieves will come in and steal if we are not laying our treasures up on the other side. Invest your valuables where they won't be destroyed. Invest where you want your heart to go...Heaven.

Worship Wear

Pastor D.R. McKillop
February 20, 2011

Standard has everything to do with our defense and how we live has everything to do with our worship. What hinges on the decision of a sinner whether they want God or not is whether they are tired of their taskmaster or not. Sin hates distinction, definition, productivity, and growth. It bends toward chaos and destruction. When God created the earth, it was done with order. Every seed produced after its own kind. In the Garden there was no problem with distinction between man and woman but when sin came into the world it blurred the lines and Adam and Eve had to cover themselves. Because the world is in a fallen state, it is our responsibility to dress according to who we are. Just because it’s not wrong doesn’t mean it is right. Just because it’s decent doesn’t mean it is modest. Base your decisions on how it will affect people that are following you.

God didn’t want any of Cain’s sacrifice mingling with Abel’s because he hated it so much. Cain’s sacrifice was of flax which makes linen when spun. Abel brought wool and that is why God said not to mix wool with flax. It was an act  of worship that brought forth the standard. When the world starts to mingle with our standard, it will affect our worship. When we are messing with standard , we are messing with something that God hates. Some things we need to take off and some things  we need to put on.

Achan’s sin was discovered by a test of worship. The Babylonian garment looked good to him and it cost him his life. David’s wife didn’t like his dress standard for worship because he was worshipping like all the common folks and had laid aside his kingly garments. We all come together and worship as the redeemed; not as our individual walks of life. You can’t wear heaviness and shout. Trade it for a garment of praise.

Camping According To Your Standard

Pastor D.R. McKillop
February 13, 2011

The favor of God flows on you when you are submitted to a man of God. This salvation is not just repentance, baptism, and Holy Ghost; it requires a lifestyle change. When it becomes a revelation to you it will be more than just a church standard; it becomes your standard that you are going to live by. If you are hungry, God will lead you step by step. Each new generation can’t create their own standard. The old way works! We are not interested in revival that compromises what we believe. We are not changing anything; if this standard is good enough to camp by, it is good enough to march by. Our lifestyle needs to explain what our standard is. When a change happens inside of you the standard will not matter.

Just because our eyes are on the Promised land; we can’t afford to camp different than how we are marching. The Israelites camp was organized by standards; based on their identity they had certain responsibilities. Each camp had to move according to their standard so when they set up the next time they were  camping exactly like they were the last time; standard by standard. Things can get confusing sometimes while moving. What worked for the last generation will work for this generation.

Our tent needs to be exactly like our tribe. If we say we live it because the preacher says then we will get lost in the move. Every once in a while each family would make the trip to the tabernacle to see if their family was camping according to the standard. This is why we need to come to the house of God bringing our shekel and measure it up to the standard of the church to see if we are living right. Our life depends on this. We need to be identifiable so that when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against it. How you are camping in your own tent will tell how you survive when the enemy comes in. If there is no Spirit there, there is nothing that will raise against it to protect you. We can live by an old standard and still have revival!!

Love For The Master

Rev. Caleb Adams
February 5, 2011

Slavery was frequently considered a blessing in Bible times.  It served as a venue for many to have an identity, occupation, food, housing, and security.  The Law obligated that they serve their Master for six years.  The seventh year provided the chance for a slave to cut his ties with his Master and be free from slavery.

The slave would reflect on the benefits that he had experienced in the past six years. Many times out of love for the Master and his own family, he would choose to stay on and serve. To show his choice and dedication, he would go to a door post and have an awl pierce his earlobe forever leaving the scar, an outward emblem for all to see of love to a good Master.

On our journey, one must not focus on the laws, rules, regulations, chores, and duties.  Law can only take you so far… to Calvary.  It is at this point that you must make up your mind as two worlds are vying for your loyalty.  Temptations cannot be overcome with rules but a love relationship.  You must feel and get a revelation of who the Master is.  Paul wrote that he bore scars for the Lord Jesus.  A love for your family will cause one to embrace the Master.  The world looks at us only to see the outward emblem of our love.  Undergirding all of this is the love we have for our Master and His holy attributes.  It is no longer law and rules but a choice to serve and love.  This love gives us the freedom to do whatever we want ….  You aim to live a life pleasing to the one that you love!

The Birthplace of Revelation

Pastor D.R. McKillop
January 30, 2011

You can’t learn revelation; it has to be revealed. Teaching will do you no good unless revelation comes to you. God wants to reveal Himself to sinners and saints. We need a daily renewal of revelation. Get up in the morning and start working on being saved. Don’t let the enemy torment your mind at the end of the day and tell you, you can’t be saved if you have been trying to live right all day. We need to experience Him as our Savior.

Where did Peter get his revelation? God sent him through a storm and what was beginning to consume Peter, Jesus was walking on it toward Him and bid Him come. Jesus was willing to endure the storm just to get a chance to reveal Himself to Peter. He got his revelation before the storm was over because he was willing to step out and see Jesus as he had never seen Him before. Jesus had a purpose in getting Peter to the other side of the storm.

There are four principles to every trial: Presence- this should be enough to calm our fears. You will see a side of Jesus that you’ve never seen before during the fourth watch of the night.  Provision- He will be there for you in your situation. You step from presence to provision when He bids you to come. He will sustain you through the deep waters. Power- you can only stand living in the vise of your situation for so long and then Jesus comes by with the power to give peace. Purpose- no matter what the situation is, there is a purpose for it and God wants us to get to the other side so the purpose can be fulfilled

The Blood Applied

 Bishop D.H. McKillop
January 23, 2011

Everything I have, I have because of the blood.  Over my head was hanging a pending judgment but God stepped in and said, "No!  You don't have to die, I am going to do it for you."  I don't have to be baptized in Jesus' Name, I get to be baptized in Jesus' Name!  The devil needs to take a look at the blood.

I CAN make it even with my shortcomings if I keep myself under the blood. Humanity may not be able to forgive and forget but God can and does!  Pending judgment would like to torment me but I've got the blood.

In Egypt, when God was getting ready to set the Israelites free from bondage, they had to have faith.  No one had been freed by the blood before, but their faith responded and they painted the doorposts of their home with the blood believing God was going to do the impossible.  When God came that night, He wasn't looking at their shoes, or if they had eaten the right stuff, or if their clothes were on right but He was looking for the blood.

It's the blood that got them out just like it's the blood today that's going to get us out of here and presented blameless.  With my spirit I serve God but with my flesh I serve sin so I've got to have the blood to cover me.  When Jesus sees me, He sees the blood not my failings and shortcomings.  I've got to have the blood!!!

I believe Jesus saves, and His blood washes whiter than snow!  We are saved by grace.  We have no bragging rights on being saved.  If we are going to make a judgment, we need to do it on the side of the blood knowing how bad we each NEED the blood!!!  I don't need the things of this world but I DO need more of Him, His presence and His blood!!

It’s In My Bones

Rev. Wade Townley
January 16, 2011

The Bible is full of Word but there is nothing like it when God gives you a Word personally for you for your situation. These words are steadfast; someone’s unbelief can’t change your Word when you are holding onto it. It will be tested and tried but hold on long enough to see it come to pass. God is the spoken, written, and manifested Word. It was spoken before the world was created.

This is a living Word that spoke the world into existence. Those who don’t believe take on the image of what they believe, but those that believe take on the image of God.

God wants His Word to settle in our bones. When  the body is dead and gone, the Word will still be alive. The Word is produced in the marrow. Joseph didn’t want his bones left in Egypt because he believed so strong in the promise that even though he was dead he wanted his bones where the promise was. Moses staggered out from a burning bush experience with fire in his bones. His Word is stronger than death; the soul keeps holding onto the promise. Have confidence in it, repeat it, and become it. If you are setting by a Red Sea, you are camping by your next miracle.

The Mandate, “Little By Little”

Pastor D.R. McKillop
January 9, 2011

We have got to fight God’s battle, but there are times when He will fight our battle for us. When an enemy turns his back in battle, he is  the most vulnerable. There is a big difference in possessing and inheriting the kingdom. The vision we have received carries a weight that can be overwhelming so we need help to keep the vision in perspective. We need to keep our vision attainable; God knows that we can do it. This is not just something that 2011 will reveal, it has got to be a lifestyle, little by little. We can’t afford to increase faster than what we can possess. . God is all about walking, reaching, challenging, and keeping us out of our comfort zones. We shouldn’t be overwhelmed by the giants in the land that God told us we could overcome.

The mandate is going to take us to a new level of submission and trust. Until you have been challenged, you don’t truly know if you are submitted or not. The success of churches is to find the “Paul”  of that area they are in and being submitted to him. We have got to be connected to someone, we need one another to make it. God promised Moses that He would go ahead of him and drive the enemies out. Where would we not go if we knew that God was ahead of us taking care of our enemies? There is no barrenness or sickness when God goes before us.

The only way for Adam to properly take care of the Garden was to be fruitful and multiply. Little by little we need to expand and take dominion. If Adam and Eve would have been busy following the mandate of being fruitful and multiplying, then they would have not had time to give ear to the enemy. Little by little we need to keep moving our boundaries out and possessing the Kingdom that God has in mind for us.

Something Better

Rev Wade Townley
January 2, 2011

Jesus is all I need. He gives consolation and peace of mind.  We can’t be conformed to the thinking of the world. ; we need our minds renewed by the Holy Ghost. If you are going to dead, dry church and leaving still carrying your burdens,

God has something better for you. The presence of Jesus in our lives will take care of our problems.

There is a sacrifice that is far better than what Moses offered on Mt. Sinai; it was offered at Calvary for you and I. There is a better hope and covenant. We are headed for a better country. The promise is better than where you’ve been and what you’ve gone through. Church is not just to make us feel good; it is a place to hear the truth so we can be saved. God is wanting to give us something more and something better. Are you satisfied with what you’ve got and where you are in God?
