Winging Our Way!

Posted by Daniel McKillop on January 13, 2012 @ 11:12 PM

We have updated two more pages worth of photos from our stay here in Belize. We have had a wonderful time with Bishop Joiner and his family. The work of God is advancing in the country of Belize, because of their faithfulness!

You will see photos from a number of events... ladies banquets, church services, playing with Jansen, touring the Menonite village, etc. We will provide in depth details behind them all, when we get home!

Speaking of home... we will be heading that way in a few short hours!! We fly out of Belize tomorrow (actually, later today), at 12:15pm local time. Please keep us in your prayers, as we travel!

Now, back to packing... :)

God Bless! We love ya'll!

Landed in Belize

Posted by Daniel McKillop on January 09, 2012 @ 6:43 PM

We had a GREAT time in Honduras with the Schreckhise family and the Pentecostals of Honduras. As the majority of you know, yesterday was a slated to be a special day. They had a number of churches that were gathering together for an amalgamted service. While enroute, one of their pastors was involved in an accident... he had many folks from his assembly on the back of his pick up truck. God miraculously spared their lives... their youth pastor was discharged from the hospital last evening... to God be the glory!

This morning we flew out of Honduras for Belize. We landed earlier this evening. As you can imagine, Belize holds a very special spot in our hearts!! What a joy to be reunited with the Joiners... what a great family! We also were privileged to meet Jansen St. Amand for the first time... what a doll! Him and Geron are hastily making up for lost time, as they develop a lasting friendship. We will be posting pictures from Belize shortly...

As for now, we have updated photos from yesterday... Enjoy!

Love ya'll!

More Pics Uploaded!!!

Posted by Daniel McKillop on January 07, 2012 @ 1:42 PM

Greetings FWC!!!

I just returned from a trip to the mountains with Bro. Schreckhise, Bro. Nathanial & Bro. Byron (the youth pastor). What an exciting, life-changing experience. If you recall, Bro. Schreckhise told us at POWER conference this past year, about a young couple that got married up in the mountains. They were invited to the wedding, on account of the sister to the bride, who was won to God by Sis. Alaina.

As a result, there are a number of folks that they have been witnessing to in that area, up in the mountains. They told more of their family that lives farther up... actually... at the TOP of the mountians.

Many of the pictures uploaded are of the services and scenery that we enjoyed while on that "mountain trip". There are also pictures of the nine people that were baptized while we were there. Additionally, there were five children that we dedicated to God. Continue to pray for these folks. I believe there will be thriving churches in both of these locations in the near future!

While we were in the mountains, my wife and Sis. Schreckhise came to La Ceiba, and worked around the church and campground. I will try to get some pictures uploaded of their expeditions as well!

The Kingdom of God is progressing here in Honduras. Thank God for the Schreckhise families burden to win the lost, in this beautiful country!

Continue to pray for the remainder of our trip. We are missing everyone, and praying God's blessings on you all! Thanks for the comments and emails!

God Bless,

DRM

Great Service in El Progreso!

Posted by Daniel McKillop on January 05, 2012 @ 8:09 PM

We were privileged to join Pastor Jimmy and his congregation for service this evening. There was a sweet presence of the Lord in the house tonight. What an experience to worship with these GREAT people! A very humbling experience... we are truly a blessed people!

After service we stopped at a "drive-thru" convenience store. Now there's a business idea... All of this can be seen in the pictures linked in the column to the right!

Tomorrow morning, Bro. Schreckhise, Nathaniel, the youth pastor, and myself are leaving for the mountains. I am not sure how long it will be before we get back to internet coverage. Please be patient... we will be updating the blog with photos and stories as we are able!

Keep the prayers coming... We love ya'll!

We have landed!

Posted by Daniel McKillop on January 04, 2012 @ 12:30 PM

Greetings dear church family!

We have landed safe and sound in Honduras!

The entire Schreckhise family was there to greet us in fine style! The weather was overcast, so we really didn't get a chance to witness the true beauty of Honduras as we landed. However, it is very warm... in the 80's. A stark contrast with the weather we left yesterday!

We are presently in El Progreso, where we will be in service this evening. Then tomorrow, Bro. Schreckhise and I will head to the mountains, while our wives head back to La Ceiba, where the headquarters church is located. Pray for us!

As we have internet connection, we will keep the website updated with blogs and photos. Please notice: this will NOT work like the other church blog that we host. You will NOT be notified each time that it is updated. So... you will have to keep coming back here to check it out! We notified you of this first blog, to let you know the site was being updated.

You can leave comments... feel free to do so. We will try to respond to questions and comments as we have the opportunity!

God bless you! We are missing ya'll already!

P.S. -- Will try to have some photos uploaded shortly!
