Missions is a very important part of the Family Worship Center!  It is part of who we are, not only on foreign soil, but also on the home front!  Under the direction of Pastoral Staff, we endeavour to keep the church congregation current with new developments as well as emergencies and special needs that have been presented by the missionary.

Each month we have Missions’ Sunday!  This is a time when a presentation is given that includes photos from the field as well as letters/emails sent from the missionaries.  Also presented is  a detailed report of our missions giving for the previous month with totals for the year so far in comparison with the previous year.  Our Mission’s Bulletin board is kept up to date with pictures and correspondence received from the different missionaries Family Worship Center supports.

Each month boxes of good used clothing are sent to the mission field.  A drop-off location is provided where saints from the Family Worship Center can bring their donation to this cause; it is then packaged and sent to the appropriate areas.

Family Worship Center has also assigned different individuals to write/email a particular missionary on a regular basis in order to keep them current with events in our local churches.

Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”, truly Family Worship Center has been blessed for giving!
