The Pillars’ Department includes all the members of Family Worship Center who are 60 years of age and older. The purpose of this department is to convey the message that no matter what our age or circumstances, we are still of value to God and the church family.

The Pillars meet four or five times a year at the church dining hall for a delicious meal and an evening of fun and fellowship. The program for our socials varies from games, skits, year in review pictures, senior Bible quizzing tournament and special guests. In August we have our annual Picnic-in-the-Park followed by a time of singing around the campfire. Each year we plan a day trip for shopping or visiting an attraction. At the December get together, we enjoy the youth choir singing while we have a turkey dinner.
