July 4, 2021 was a special day. After months of planning, collaborating and preparing, we officially broke ground on the site of our new worship center! We are witnessing a vision become a reality -- right before our very eyes!
As folks began to gather on the site -- lawn chairs in tow -- the excitement in the air was palpable. This was the moment we had been waiting for. After a solid week of forecasted rain, the weather proved perfect. We were delighted to be joined by a number of guests from our community and surrounding areas. In addition, we were honoured to host Plaster Rock Mayor Tom Eagles, MLA Margaret Johnson (Minister of Agriculture), and MP Richard Bragdon.
As we began to sing the praises of God, His presence sanctioned this event. Our Bishop, Pastoral Staff and Church Board of Directors made short order of getting the sod turned so the work could begin! While we understand that we have a LONG way to go, we are humbled by how far God has brought us already.
We encourage you to check out a few snapshots of this special day! Special thanks to Lisa Brewer Photography for capturing (and DONATING) the photos of our GroundBreaking Ceremony. We really appreciate it!
