Presque Isle: population 8,998 - known as a commercial center and largest city in Aroostook County, Maine. It is also home to a thriving extension of the Family Worship Centres headquarters church. As is happening in all of our locations, this congregation is seeing entire families being added, people are receiving the Holy Ghost, and God is changing lives. Under the incredible leadership of Bro Rob Grant and his family, major impact is taking place in this community. This church is on fire!
On October 5, 2019, we hosted a Community Children’s Fun Day. Hotdogs, chips and drinks were on the menu. Games and activities were organized to ensure a fun filled afternoon. Don't forget the bouncy castles! We ended the day with the children singing songs, a skit, and then passed out gift bags containing candy and our Church information. Over 60 children attended!
We have a total of 16 children in our weekly Children's Church service on a regular basis. We are thankful to Bro & Sis Turner and Bro & Sis Churchill for doing a great work with these precious young kids!
On November 24, 2019, God filled a 12 year old guest with the gift of the Holy Ghost. What incredible sight! We followed up with a Youth Bible Study about the necessity of Jesus name water baptism. On December 8, in obedience to the word of God, she was baptized in the beautiful name of Jesus!
The FWC Mass Choir hosted a Benefit Concert at the Caribou Performing Arts Center. 750+ personal invitations to the Benefit Concert were handed out! The proceeds went toward the medical bills for Riley Gilliam, an 11 year old boy who suffered serious injury in an unfortunate accident this past summer.
