This past weekend, a special milestone was passed. A precious member of FWC — Grammy Eagles (Mabel) — turned 100 years old!
Grammy Eagles is the only remaining member that attended church in every stage of FWC’s history. She began with Pastor Roulston preaching from the back of a flatbed truck in the early 1930’s all the way through to when we moved in to our present facility in 1998.
It has been a desire of hers to live until she sees the completion of our present church expansion project. This past Saturday, she was able to perform her first on-site inspection of our new worship center.
She gave us her stamp of approval!
We are believing that her prayer request will be answered… wouldn’t it be awesome for her to be able to worship with us in our new home?!
