Called To Be Saints

There is no greater calling than the call of God upon a life.
Sometimes we hear the word “calling” and immediately think of pulpits, platforms, titles, or ministry positions. We think of apostles, pastors, missionaries, singers, teachers, and leaders. But before God ever calls someone to a platform, He first calls them out of darkness.
That is the highest calling.

To be called a saint is not a small thing. It means God saw you where you were, knew everything about your past, understood every weakness, every failure, every struggle — and still said, “Come.” He did not call you because your conduct was already perfect. He called you because His mercy reached first.
You do not have to have everything fixed before you respond to God. You do not have to clean up every broken place before you come to Him. The call of God is not reserved for people who have already proven themselves worthy. It is extended to those who are willing to answer.
And once He calls, He does not take it back.
The gifts and callings of God are without repentance. He does not regret calling your name. He does not apologize for reaching for you. He does not look at your battle, your past, or your weakness and decide He made a mistake. His voice is still saying, “Come.”
The enemy would love to make people feel disqualified, distant, or disconnected. He wants us to become so focused on what we are not that we forget what God has already called us to be. But the church is filled with people who are not here because they are perfect. We are here because God called us, loved us, washed us, and kept reaching.
Saints still sing. Saints still pray. Saints still contend for the faith. Saints still walk through the doors with bruised hearts and lifted hands, declaring, “I still belong to Him.”
Maybe you feel weak. Maybe you feel far away. Maybe you wonder if God could still want you. He does.
You are not an accident. You are not forgotten. You are not beyond His reach.
The greatest miracle may not be a title, a platform, or a position.
The greatest miracle is that God called your name and said, “Come out of darkness into My marvelous light.”
He is still calling today!
